What I’m looking forward to once we get moved into the new house:
🏠 – Sleeping in my own bed in my own room all by my damn self with all the lights off (my 22 year old autistic kiddo won’t sleep if there’s not a light on)
🏡 – Cooking on an actual stove and having an oven instead of just a 2 burner hot plate thing that takes forever to cook anything and a microwave
🏠 – Having my own bathroom AND having my own bathroom IN my bedroom
🏡 – Working at my own desk with my own chair (I do at least have my computer at the hotel)
🏠 – Having a totally separate office with a door that isn’t in my bedroom!
🏡 – Parking in the garage where it’s dry and my car will stay more clean than it does parking outside
🏠 – Being able to wash laundry in my own house without having to buy a roll of quarters LOL
🏡 – Access to all my clothes instead of the same 3 or 4 shirts and 2 pairs of pants I’ve been wearing every week for 8 months
🏠 – BEING ABLE TO TAKE A BATH!!!
🏡 – Not having to take client calls and calls with my own coach sitting in my car (because it’s quiet and private) LOL
🏠 – A fenced yard where we can plant a garden and big deck where I can sit and have coffee every morning
I’m also really excited that there are lots of walking and bike trails in our new neighborhood as well as several parks within walking distance so I can take Mr. Bubs to play when he gets back from Alaska with his dad.
And I’m really looking forward to everyone having their own rooms again so we can spread out and not be in each others spaces 24/7. Because, I’ll tell ya what – I love my family but I need some space!
Please continue your magic-making, miracle-creating energy and good vibes and pray all goes well so we can close next week and get moved once and for all!!!
And on that note, I’m putting in my ear plugs and going to bed for what I hope is the last weekend in the hotel.
