The COVID-19 pandemic hit way too close to home tonight when I found out my friend Jessica lost her BFF of 30 years due to the virus last week.

If you’re in my local area, you may have heard of the single mom of 6 kids who had just beat breast cancer. . . and then died a week ago as a result of coronavirus.

Yeah, that woman was Jessica’s best friend.

Please, I implore you – do everything in your power to help stop the spread of this pandemic.

The sooner everyone complies with the stay home/shelter in place idea, the sooner we can end this madness.

  1. That was so sad to hear… my daughter who had the virus… was the same age as her… had Sepsis on top of the virus… and survived. When I read this gals story my heart was so heavy… She appeared to be single and all I could think about was her 6 children… where are they??

  2. I read this story and it just broke me. I used to live in Everett and am a single mama to 7. To leave my kids behind is a fear that gripped me for the last 11 years (as long as I have been single) has decreased more lately. God is so very good and His ways are much greater than my own, so His plans are far superior and that is what brings me peace.
