I’ve been a single parent for 16 out of the past 25 years and this guy, who would be homeless after his parents passing last year if it weren’t for me offering to put a roof over his head (which was only supposed to be for a couple weeks, mind you), seems to think I need to be reminded to pick my child up from her part time job 🙄🙄🙄 – oh, and he can’t even spell her name correctly

  1. You are banking some solid karma points. I see you, and I’m thinking you’re a better human than most. Do whatever self care it takes to get through it and set a solid exit date.

  2. Choices. 😉
Knowing he’s on his way out, but hoping you make that fact perfectly crystal clear to him, so he’s not confused about it.
    Hugs and healing. ❣️

  3. Good for you lil sister! I can understand helping for a short period of time. But as that time gets longer living there it really starts to wear on the way your family dynamic is set to run to becoming a weird kind of fractured set on the rules. Cause when it’s all said an done it your house your rules. His rules don’t trump your is what I’m saying. Hope how I’m typing this makes sense. But the longer he is there it becomes hard on the kids trying to respect an follow two sets of rules. Enough of my ramblings. I know you understand. I’m can understand your frustrations an that’s when you know the welcome is started to be through.
