I don’t even know what to say. The world has lost an icon. . .
We are saddened to share that Beverly Cleary, one of the most beloved children’s books authors of all time, passed away yesterday, March 25, at 104 years old.
Looking back, Beverly would often say, ‘I’ve hada lucky life,’ and generations of readers count themselves lucky, too—lucky to have the very real characters she created, including Henry Huggins, Ramona and Beezus Quimby, and Ralph S. Mouse, as true friends who helped shape their growing-up years. https://bit.ly/39hGXfd
