    I’ll also say this:

Yes, everything CAN BE a process. But if you’re working with clients who are aligned with what you offer, the process doesn’t have to be long and drawn out, either.

I’m tired of these web designers and branding people who take WEEKS to get through the basics of what their clients WANT and NEED.

Sure, brand boards and all that are fun. They feel exciting! They make the process feel like it’s going somewhere (when sometimes, it’s actually really not). And that’s terrible for both of you.

Have a conversation! Ask them some pointed questions. Listen to their vision for their business or whatever they’re building the site around.

And you will know what needs to happen.

YOU DO NOT HAVE TO HAVE COLORS IN PLACE OR COPY IN PLACE BEFORE YOU START BUILDING THE SITE.

You can adjust all that later. Get the bones down. The framework down. Just like building a house.

The colors and all the details can come later.

Also, I built all of this WHILE taking care of my family which included babysitting my 4 year old autistic grandson, taking my younger daughter to work, taking my younger son to school orientation AND to get a sports physical. Plus doing the regular daily things one does a single parent with a household full of teenagers.

  3. Wow you mean it doesn’t take 10+months to create a basic website?!?! Oh my goodness, when I hired Felicity and Design it has taken over 10 months and I still have no site!
    🤣😂🤣

Dude. LOL. Also: do you use Divi? If so, can I ask for guidance on a thing which I believe to be very simple?
